- HEIERLING i-FLEX
The HAWX ski boot model that has been internationally distributed by the ATOMIC group since 2007 is the provisional final outcome of a five-year success story in innovation management. In 2001, the well-known Swiss manufacturer Heierling founded together with the Munich-based Patentpool Innovations Management GmbH a company to develop the revolutionary i-flex ski-boot technology. The main differences to traditionally manufactured ski boots are the flexible shell and the energy spring that decouple the front exterior from the back part. The result: it allows the skier an upright, more natural stance in the ski boot that guarantees a direct transmission of power without energy loss reduces the stress on the body’s joints and generally prevents fatigue while skiing.
