Responsibility

Patentpool pursues innovation management. That means: our task begins with the search of promising ideas and inventions of new products. In case such an innovation has successful prospects on the market our experienced team of experts will evaluate the aspects of later market introduction. They will also exploit the possibilities for a profitable sale of the licence for production and marketing of the product after completion of the developments to a company inland or abroad.

Bulb"The hen comes before the egg"

The situation on the large field of inventions is the same everywhere: The "spiritual fathers of an idea" only in very rare cases have the financial means to actually develop their invention ready for market. Thus, many promising inventions end in nothing, as the inventors are running out of assets. At this stage Patentpool comes into play with their private and commercial investors: if our evaluation of the product idea comes to the result that the product has a great market potential we provide the product with the essential financial means in order to develop it ready for market. This is done through formation of a company, in which the Patentpool-Group (and thus the Patentpool investors) normally holds the majority shares. This company is the sole owner of the international patented trademark rights of this invention.

Development completed- and now?

In the final stage of the development phase the Patentpool expert team prepares the later outlicensing of the product and gets in touch with potentially interested parties. These are high-performance firms and companies at home and abroad, which should have great interest in the production and distribution of the respective product due to their position in the market. The advantage hereby: Patentpool offers these companies at all times a provable, internationally patented technology, which can be produced in series and sold directly after finalization of the licensing procedure.

Yields resulting from licensing

The yields of the respective licensing of the products are issued to Patentpool and thus to the investors. As the market value of the finished product is normally much higher than the “bare idea on the paper” our patents gain corresponding yields from licensing – and this for many years.
